I love to cook, it has always been in my family. I am especially proud of the heritage of baking bequeathed to me by my mother and my grandmother. My Grandmother's Christmas Cake recipe is something special and it warms my heart to see it do good. I make my cakes faithfully to her recipe (well, with the exception of a little extra butter, brandy, and fruit).
This is the fifteenth year of Christmas Cakes for Cancer Research and it has grown throughout that time. I have yet to find a person who doesn't love a slice. This is a cake all people love to eat. They are a popular, creative gift - for families, teachers, hostesses, singles, employees, clients, your favourite aunt - the list is endless, a particular favourite of men.
